He further said that salons will be opened in the state from today. Shops and offices are already opening. However, it is up to the people whether they want the lockdown or not.
Thackeray said that the process of unlocking is being implemented gradually, which is named ‘Mission Begin Again’, to bring the economy back on track.
He said that the ‘Chase the virus’ initiative in Mumbai, which was badly affected by the Coronavirus, brought good results and now it will be implemented in other parts of the state as well.
As part of the campaign, 15 people in close contact with the Kovid-19 patient will necessarily be placed in institutional quarantines, while community leaders will inform people about other diseases, food, and other facilities in institutional isolated habitat centers. At the same time, they will also tell about the time of the clinic. It was launched on 27 May.
Thackerey said in a televised exhort that ‘in Mumbai we got good results of the Chase the Virus campaign and now we have decided to implement it across the state’.
Thackerey also indicated that he has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking an extension of Prime Minister’s Garib Kalyan Abhiyan so that Maharashtra can supply food grains to the poor at a low cost. He further said that perhaps tomorrow, Maharashtra can become the state to use the most plasma therapy. He also requisitioned to those recovering from Corona to donate their plasma.
Thackeray said that many types of medicines are being used to treat corona patients in the state. He further said that there are enough N-95 masks and PPE kits in the state. We have allowed Remedesivir and Favipiravir. People do not have to worry about its cost, the government will provide it.
