Three athletes, two of them staying on the Olympic Village, have examined optimistic for COVID-19, the Games Organising Committee (OC) introduced on Sunday.
It is the primary occasion of athletes staying on the village catching the an infection. Their identities haven’t been revealed by the organisers. The third contaminated athlete is staying at a delegated Games lodge.
A complete of 10 instances had been detected on the day, together with 5 “Games concerned personnel”, one contractor, and a journalist, in accordance with the COVID-19 Positive Case List uploaded by the OC right here.
