A Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge has been launched in India, one of which supports 120W hyper charging, making it the “fastest charging smartphone in the country” so far. In addition to the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, Xiaomi today also unveiled the Xiaomi 11i. HyperCharge 120W technology is supported by the former, and TurboCharge 67W technology is supported by the latter.
A combination of new technologies across the battery, charging circuit, and charging cable, combined with the 120W charger included in the box, makes the Xiaomi HyperCharge 11i charge 100 percent within 15 minutes. The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, according to Xiaomi, charges faster than any other smartphone in the country. Additionally, if you’re not interested in hyper charging on your device, there is the Xiaomi 11i, which has 67W TurboCharge support and can charge the device up to 50 percent in 13 minutes. Furthermore, the Xiaomi 11i has a slightly larger battery than the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge SmartPhone. Apart from that, both devices are essentially identical.

Xiaomi 11i Fast charging
In its new phone, Xiaomi debuts its proprietary 120W HyperCharge technology for the first time. Dual Charge pumps adjust volume and amperage for higher wattage intake, according to the company during the launch event on Thursday. This Dual Charge pump lowers the voltage and increases the amperage in order to optimize the charging process.

Dual-cell batteries on the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge facilitate parallel charging and make inputs twice as large. The MTW also extends the time a current can be delivered and permits real-time monitoring of the voltage and current of the cells, thereby reducing the charging time.
With graphene-based Li-ion batteries, the smartphone is able to conduct electricity better than competing batteries and dissipate heat quickly. Safety is a major concern with fast charging. Huawei’s HyperCharge technology has been certified by TUV Rheinland as Safe Fast Charging System certification. The device also has 34 charging and battery safety features covering everything from the charging path to the battery. The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge also features nine thermal sensors that monitor the device’s temperature in real time.

The manufacturer of Xiaomi’s hyper-charging smartphones said their batteries retain up to 80 percent of their capacity after 800 charges and discharges, as opposed to the 60 percent capacity retention after 500 charges and discharges, usually seen in other smartphones.The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge can also be charged under extreme weather conditions and can reach 12W charging speeds down to -10 degrees centigrade. On the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, Xiaomi has put a 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W HyperCharge, and on the Xiaomi 11i, the battery is 5160mAh, and the phone supports 67W TurboCharge.

One of the first smartphones in India to use the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G SoC is the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. Based on a 6nm manufacturing process, the Dimensity 920 5G SoC is made by MediaTek.

Featuring a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, these smartphones have a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. Furthermore, the screen has a maximum brightness of 1200nits and has a 360-degree ambient light sensor, plus it has a 1.76mm Ultra Narrow bezel and 2.96mm punch-hole screen. Dual Dolby Atmos powered stereo speakers are built into the devices.
Xiaomi’s 11i HyperCharge and 11i feature a flat-edge design with both sides covered in glass, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. Besides the fan-favourite IR Blaster, the IP53-rated device has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
