The accident took place on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway which passes through the national capital. Police said that Sidhu was going from Delhi to Bathinda in Punjab when his car collided with a trailer truck at 9.30 pm. In the accident, Reena Rai, who was with him in the car, narrowly escaped. According to the police, Sidhu had suffered serious head injuries in the accident. His white SUV was badly damaged by the driver’s side. Sidhu was declared brought dead at Kharkhoda Hospital in Haryana’s Sonepat district.
