The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to cancel the remaining examinations of 10th and 12th. The assessment of the students of class 12th will be done on the basis of the last examinations of the school. The scheme has been prepared for this. If the students are not satisfied with the marks given by the board, then they can participate in the board examination to improve performance later. Students who sit to improve performance in board examinations will be considered as final. The ICSE board has also decided to cancel the class 10th and 12th examinations.

The wait for more than 31 lakh students across India will end today. The Supreme Court will announce the final decision on the remaining examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) by 2 pm today. The announcement of the CBSE exams will have an impact on the admission process of all central universities as well as the national entrance examination including JEE Main and NEET 2020.

Let us know, the remaining CBSE papers are initially to be held from July 1 to 15, however, with the rapid increase in coronavirus cases across the country, the Board of Education and the Government is reconsidering their decision.

The Delhi government, which has the largest number of CBSE schools, has already shown disagreement about conducting board exams. Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia wrote a letter to Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh PokhriyalNishank and requested him not to conduct the remaining CBSE examination in Delhi.

CBSE has canceled the examinations of 10th and 12th from 1st to 15th July. Some parents had filed a petition in the Supreme Court for cancellation of the examinations. At the same time, three states also said that the cases of corona are increasing in the state due to which examinations cannot be conducted yet. The Supreme Court heard today about this.  Supreme Court asked CBSE whether the examinations can be canceled? Giving information in the Supreme Court, the Solicitor General said that at present, CBSE has canceled the exams of class 10th and 12th. The students of class 12th will get the option to take the exam again if the situation becomes normal.

CBSE Board Exam

In view of the increasing case of Coronavirus, CBSE has taken a big decision regarding the remaining exam. The board explained its decision to cancel the remaining examinations of 10th and 12th in the Supreme Court. Where the examinations of class 10th have been canceled and the result of the students will be based on internal evaluation and performance in the examination of the previously completed subjects, the students of class 12th will be given the option.  They will be given marks based on their performance in the last three exams conducted at the school. Apart from this, they will also be given the option to appear in the Improvement Examination to be held after a few months. If students want, they will be able to improve their scores by giving an improvement exam.

ICSE

The Maharashtra government had said in the Bombay High Court that ICSE cannot be allowed to conduct the remaining 10th and 12th exams in the state in July. There are ICSE board examinations from July 2 to 12. Last week, ICSE gave students the option of whether they can take the exam in July or not. In case of not giving the exam, their result will be based on pre-board exams and internal evaluation.

JEE Main And NEET-UG 2020 Exam

NEET and JEE Main exams were already postponed in view of coronavirus infection. JEE Main, JEE Advanced and NEET exams are scheduled in July and August. It is expected that the HRD Ministry will also take a big decision on these exams.

Seat 2020 Exam

The seat of 2020 examination is scheduled on July 5, 2020. CBSE has not announced to postpone the examination yet. But there has been a delay in issuing the admit card. The admit card was to be released in the third week of June 2020. It is also likely to be postponed due to the growing case of Kovid-19.

The NTA has also postponed the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Exam (NCHM JEE) 2020 in the wake of the Covid-19 epidemic. The exam was to be held on June 22, 2020.

University Exam

University exams are also likely to be canceled. In many states, the result of college students will also be prepared based on internal assessment and performance in the first semester or year. The UGC has also recommended the cancellation of the final year exam.

What If CBSE Canceled Papers

If CBSE cancels the examination, the result will be declared on the basis of an alternative evaluation system. The CBSE had suggested following the internal assessment criteria for the exam anyway. Let us know, CBSE is going to conduct the examination of 29 main subjects. However, everyone is awaiting the final decision of the Supreme Court. After which the examination will be decided or not.

He also said that the students of class 12 will be evaluated on the basis of the previous three exams. Currently, isolation centers are running in many schools, due to which exams cannot be conducted. Apart from this, students will also be given the option to appear in the Improvement Examination to be held after a few months. If students want, they can improve their numbers by giving an improvement exam. The Supreme Court took cognizance of the Centre’s statement and issued a new notification to the CBSE directing it to clarify the details of Class 12 board examinations.

Explain that Delhi, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu had expressed the inability to conduct the exam. The CBSE board will issue a notification on Friday i.e. tomorrow to give all the information related to the exam. The board is expected to announce the result by the end of July. Last year, the results of the 12th examination were declared on May 2, while the results of the tenth examination came on May 6.

The exams of 10th class have been completely canceled. That is, there will not be any 10th examinations anywhere in the country. On the other hand, the ICSE board has also completely canceled the exams of class 10th and 12th. ICSE has also refused to give any option to students of the 12th standard.

From July 1 To 15, 29 Subjects Were To Be Conducted.

It may be known that CBSE examinations had already started before the lockdown due to Coronavirus in the country. But the exams were later postponed when the lockdown began. It was then decided that the remaining examinations would be conducted from July 1 to July 15.

There were to be a total of 29 exams for 10th and 12th. Not only this, but the date sheet was also released by Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh PokhriyalNishank for these exams. However, in view of the ever-increasing cases of coronavirus, the Supreme Court has decided to cancel them.
