Lockdown Will Remain Till 31 May

The central government has put a lockdown in the entire country till 31 May. The DGCA then said that all scheduled commercial passenger flights have been suspended until midnight on 31 May. Domestic and international flights will be informed of the opening of operations. But the aviation ministry has now made it clear that domestic aircraft will start flying across the country with the permission of the state governments.

Non AC Trains Will Run From June 1

From June 1, the Railways is running 200 non-air-conditioned special trains. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal announced this. India’s largest transporter is already running labor special trains for stranded people in the country. Apart from this, 15 pairs of special AC trains are also connecting Delhi with different parts of the country.

In these 30 trains, ordinary citizens can travel. Railways is gradually increasing the number of trains. Piyush Goyal said that the booking of all trains will start online, ie, the reservation will not be possible from the railway counter.

Domestic flights will resume once again from May 25 after two months of lockdown due to Corona crisis. Hardeep Singh Puri said, “Domestic regular commercial flights will start from Monday 25 May. All airports and airlines have been asked to be prepared for this. Currently, only limited flights can be allowed. But Puri has not said anything about the commencement of regular flights of international flights. In fact, as a precautionary measure to curb the growing outbreak of Coronavirus, all domestic and international flights were closed from March 25 with the announcement of the lockdown.

Puri has said in a tweet message that domestic flights will resume from May 25, 2020. All airports and airlines have been asked to be prepared for this. According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, a separate guideline will be issued later to the passengers catching the flight regarding their health safety, airport staff, and detailed code of conduct for the airlines.

The civil aviation sector in India has been badly affected by the Kovid-19 epidemic. There has not been a single domestic flight within the last two months.
