Dr. Sunil Khemka, managing director of Sri Narayana Hospital in Raipur, told here on Friday that 74-year-old Jogi breathed his last at 3.30 pm this afternoon. Khemka said that former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J) chief Ajit Jogi was admitted to the hospital on May 9 after his health deteriorated. Since then, his condition was critical. He said that he had a heart attack at around one and a half hours later this afternoon and his health continued to deteriorate. The doctors of the hospital tried to save him but he could not succeed.
According to Jogi family members, Ajit Jogi was walking in the wheelchair in the garden on May 9 and At the same time, he suddenly fainted, after which he was admitted to the hospital.
