CHICAGO – The University of Chicago Department of Athletics & Recreation is happy to announce the creation of the University of Chicago Softball Fund.
The endowment was made doable by a devoted group of softball households, alumnae and followers. The fund will function a everlasting supply of ongoing help for the softball program and its priorities.
“We are incredibly grateful and extremely excited for the formation of this endowment fund for the softball program,” stated Head Softball Coach Ruth Kmak. “The generosity of the initial anonymous donor, our current team’s families, and our outstanding softball alumnae family will directly impact and enhance the experience of our student-athletes, now and in the future. This fund will allow us to enrich the opportunities of our current and future players while also providing the foundation for a connective resource for our entire UChicago softball family past, present and future. We deeply appreciate the kindness and generosity of our family of softball donors and look forward to the opportunities this fund will provide for years to come!”
